Ergh, what a bad mood I'm in. I feel like talking to someone about it just to be able to complain about it and get it off my chest, but I'll post instead.

What I did today:
-Slept in till 11:30
-Showered, fed the pets, etc.
-Practiced trumpet a bit until Henri came by to pick up his vaccuum cleaner.
-Went online
-Called Ari and arranged for us to go over to her place to work on the English project tomorrow
-Gaia

Okay, now for what got me upset today. I hadn't really done anything at all today apart from posting on Gaia, which was pretty boring but fine for today. Chatted with Laure-Anne and Val a bit...Val to teach her a bit about Gaia and Laure-Anne to talk about GD a bit. Nothing particularly irritating happened until when around 10 minutes ago, Justin, who had been away the last I checked, decided to chat to me.

He made a little bunny, then, just after telling me that he was leaving, said, "thx for not saying hi to me even though ive been online for 2 days straight." If that isn't bitterness, I don't know what it is. I mean...sorry if you feel that I've been ignoring you, but you make it seem like I'm obligated to say hi to you.

I didn't give him much of a reply and he asked me, "Any excuses?" sounding, to me, like a parent that has caught me "red handedly" doing something wrong. "You did something horribly incorrect and you know it. Any excuses? Because I know it's just a shit lie to get out of trouble." Did he expect me to hang my head in shame, looking at my toes, saying, "Sorry, sir," as he taps his foot impatiently, arms crossed?

"No, I'm not obligated to say hi to you." Because I'm not, and there wasn't anything wrong with not saying hi. I don't need an excuse.

"So you just didn't want to talk to me." Why does it always have to be one extreme or the other? Either I constantly talk to you or I want to stay as far from you as possible? I told him that I didn't say hi because he was set to Away (which was true - he'd been away for the past 2 days and so I figured that he playing War of Warcraft or the like). He agreed that he was, then said, "So? You still didn't say hi."

He was Away, what did he expect? I didn't have anything urgent to tell him about, so why would I speak with him if he isn't even there? So that I may speak to the empty space where he would have graced had he been online, desperately await a response, holding my breath, even for just an "I'm away, brb"? He wasn't even "online" as far I could tell.

After all of that, he had the nerve to tell me that he was joking. I said a sarcastic, "I'm sure," and he told me that he was being sarcastic as well. He then told me, yet again, that he was leaving.

"I'll say hi next time...You seem incapable of it." How irritating, trying to get the last word in the argument. I didn't even bother saying anything.

"Andy. Nothing to say?" I replied no and he said (again) that he was going. "heh read my blog and how much u pissed me off again yesterday."

How I pissed him off yesterday? He came into class first thing in the morning in a bad mood. Jeez. I felt like telling him that no, I didn't want to bother checking his blog, but decided that it would be wiser to do otherwise.

"K, if I get around to it."

"Cuz ur soo busy. *sarcasm*" That didn't mean if I had time, it meant if I felt like it.

Anyway, I'm still pretty miffed about it but I'll refrain from complaining about it any further.

I changed the background music to Satie...This song always reminds me of the first time Shinji from Eva met Kaworu, looking out onto the sun setting over a flooded Tokyo-3 (or was it Tokyo-2?). Contemplation, serenity, sadness, beauty; perfectily fitting for this piece and for that scene. I wish I had the sheet music for it.
